If you are coming from Glasgow City Centre to Balloch (southernmost gateway to Loch Lomond), it will take you just over 35 minutes via the M8 and A82.
Stirling to Loch Lomond
If you are coming from Stirling to Balloch, it will take you around 40 minutes by following the A811 road.

Darroch Garden Rooms
The Darroch Garden Rooms are absolutely spectacular! There are 2 Darroch Garden Rooms that you can book and each have their own luxury hot tub and decked outside space with magnificent views over Ben Dubh.
There's a reason that on Airbnb, both of the Darroch Garden Rooms have a rating above 4.98 with over 500 reviews combined and it's because the host, Alison, goes above and beyond to make this stay unforgettable. Every morning, a hamper with warm criossants and fruit will be delivered to your door and there are luxury products for pampering included too!
The Darroch Garden Rooms are super stylish with a vintage interior and floor to ceiling windows. Although there's not a kitchen at the accommodation, it does have a fantastic location being only 10 minutes walk to Luss, where there's some really lovely cafes and restaurants to choose from.

The Mar Huts consists of two Shepherd Huts; The Lomond Hut and The Conic Hut. These quirky little Shepherd huts are absolute perfection!

This charming bothy is absolutely stunning and super stylish! It's been designed with comfort in mind with a king size bed, underfloor heating, an electric fire and even, a remote to control the lights.

This cosy little cabin is a total sanctuary with a magical woodland garden that overlooks the River Mar. The perfect place to relax and unwind whilst listening to the soothing sounds of the river flowing by and the birds singing.
